Pakistan Armed Forces Nursing Service
The Pakistan Armed Forces Nursing Service is a joint military administrative and staff service branch of the Pakistan Armed Forces – as it is not limited to the Army itself but also includes serving members of other branches of the Pakistan Army.
The Staff Branch was established by Queen Alexandra’s Royal Naval Nursing Service of the British Royal Navy in 1952 at the request of the Pakistan Army Medical Corps – its first director was Colonel CP Maudsley of the British Army, who served until 1964.
